The indicator card is made from natural fiber, so there are no concerns about a false reading or cross contaminating your inventory. There is a pink-colored dot on each card that will change colors to notify you of any humidity change. As long as the dot remains pink, the humidity is stable, & the humidity packet is working. Once the dot changes from pink to blue, after 110 days or so, it is time to replace your indicator card & humidity packet.
